We have worked with Tate Galleries on a wide range of different projects over the last few years from branding, book design, animations and product development for their gallery stores.
Project: Shapes and Colours Book
Client: Tate Publishing
Our work is about simplicity and application of colour which is why designing and illustrating the is book for Tate publishing seemed like the perfect brief!
This book is jam-packed with puzzles, games and colouring to help young children engage with shapes and colours. Full of bold and colourful illustrations, and filled with hundreds of stickers, it’s a great way to help your child learn through creative play.
Project: Clothing Range
Client: Tate Shops
Having worked on several projects for Tate it seemed a natural progression to design this range of bags, stationery and clothing for Tate Shops. Designs were inspired by the Colours & Shapes book and applied to different items, all of which were hand-printed at our studio.
Project: Animation
Client: Tate Exchange
We were commissioned by Tate Galleries to create five short animations that illustrated some of the burning questions posed by their Tate Exchange outreach programme.
Each was animated into a 10 second short to be published on Tate's social channels as a way of engaging and informing visitors to Tate exchange events.
Project: Website branding
Client: Tate Kids
We were approached by TATE galleries to create the visual identity for their unique children's website. Our initial brief was to create a set of visuals that would inspire creativity across the site. The parameters of the usage were as wide as the audience they wanted to attract meaning that any creative had to be carefully considered.
Illustrations were created and are used as background images, digital wallpaper, animated gifs as well as social banners and animated films.
